The VIPs of Silicon Valley gathered by the hundreds at the opulent new San Jose City Hall to congratulate the winners of the second annual Mobile Rules! business plan and innovation competition. The goal of the competition, which is organized each year by Nokia and FinNode, is to seek out entrepreneurs and developers who are creating new value, new revenue and new services for mobile devices and the mobile lifestyle.
The competition gathered together the most promising designers, leading vendors, funders and media. The level of competition in 2008 was even higher than expected as the applications challenge the capabilities of mobile devices and deserve to get into hands of millions of mobile device users.
Plantastic! has been selected as runner-up in the Multiplayer & Connected Games category for its unique, yet easy-to-play game mechanics and extremely addicting multiplayer capabilities.
